Cursive

Students, starting in the second trimester, learn cursive. Students complete a Cursive Handbook as a part of their homework. In third grade, this concept is introduced. In fourth, it is reinforced.

Cursive handwriting is a lost art form as technology plays such an important role in our society. However, at LCA, we believe it is important because it teaches discipline, control, and patience. Also, if students cannot read cursive, they cannot read historical documents. :)
