This year, we are doing something new, with regards to spelling! There will be varying spelling groups with each list being individualized to the students in that group. If you would like to know which group your student is in, please email me.
All spelling words are written in their agenda, or located on our classroom Facebook page, weekly.
Spelling is often separated by grade in the classroom. There will be times, however, in which both grades have the same spelling list.
Spelling homework will be every night, Monday through Thursday. There will be a spelling test every Friday. Homework corresponds with the Spelling Menu located in the back of your child's agenda. The Spelling Menu is a way for your child to practice their words in a way that interests them.
